Organized Crime in Japan
There were two presentations on Japanese policing and Organized Crime. Both were excellent lectures and I was surprised to hear the training, communications and technology is not as sophisticated as I would have thought. Before the end of one of the officers presentations she solicited end users to consider going to Japan and vice versa to help educate.

Session # 1 - Terrorism and corruption
This morning we listened to a lecture by a police officer from Vienna, Austria. His discussion was focused on the relationship of terrorism, fraud, corruption, organized crime and shadow economies. He told us of an unsuccessful terrorist plot planned in Vienna.
I really enjoyed listening to him speak and understanding his perspective on the link between corruption, fraud and terrorism.

Coombe Abbey, Coventry
Before heading to Liverpool we are spending a few days in Coventry, England. It's gorgeous. Although I was tired, I did a 35 minute mini crossfit workout and it seemed that time flew by.
