There are 60 countries throughout the world participating in an exchange of ideas and opinions in all aspects of policing. The organization recognizes policing is one of the most basic and essential avenues for improving the quality of life in all nations, rich and poor; modern and traditional; large and small as well as peaceful and strife-ridden.
The theme of the symposium is Terrorism, Organized Crime as it relates to Inter-agency Communication. I don't know how or why I was invited, but I am honored and humbled to represent the El Cajon Police Department.
